We’re supporting a content-rich recipe and eCommerce platform that delivers a seamless digital cooking experience to users across multiple countries. The system is built on a heavily customized Magento frontend with a PHP backend and payment integrations. Our current focus is on stabilizing and enhancing a large legacy codebase to improve maintainability, scalability, and performance.

We are looking for an experienced **Parttime**Senior Magento Developer** (4hours/day) to join our team on a contract basis. The role involves ongoing development, bug fixing, and performance improvements. You’ll be helping to resolve legacy issues and ensure the platform runs smoothly across its key features like checkout and order processing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Fix bugs and address legacy issues across frontend and backend components
- Align frontend-backend logic, including product pricing and VAT display
- Ensure checkout and order flows work reliably across multiple locales
- Debug and trace issues in a large, complex codebase with limited documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams using Jira to manage tasks and timelines
- Manage deployments using Git-based workflows across staging and production

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience with Magento 2
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in legacy codebases
- Understanding of eCommerce features like pricing logic, VAT, and order processing
- Proficiency with Git, Jira, and remote collaboration tools
- Good English communication skills (both verbal & written)
- Communicate clearly with both tech and non-tech stakeholders
- Manage expectations and track task hours tightly

**Nice to have**
- Experience with SVEA and/or Stripe payment integrations
- Familiarity with international/multi-site Magento implementations
- Knowledge of performance tuning in Magento and PHP environments
