- Korean Translator
- Location: Remote or Ho Chi Minh City. This role offers the flexibility to work from home, with adjustable working hours available by arrangement.
- Full-Time (5 days per week), Part-Time (2 days per week), or Freelance
- Language Requirement: Highly developed Korean writing & listening skills and intermediate English reading comprehension are essential for this role.
- Full Time Salary Package starting from 12,000,000 VND inclusive of the Social Insurance (depending on ability and experience)+ Performance Bonus.
- Salary Package (Part-Time/Freelance): Will be negotiated based on the agreed working hours, days, and workload.
- Office Incentives: Meal allowances will be provided on working days for employees working from the office.

Following the successful expansion of our office from Sydney, Australia to Yangon, Myanmar, we are now proud to extend our presence to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. As we continue to grow our footprint in Southeast Asia, we are seeking an excellent and results-driven **Korean Translator**to support our operations in Vietnam, Korea & Australia.

This role is ideal for someone with **highly developed Korean written and listening skills** and **intermediate English reading skills**, who can accurately interpret Australian migration and education-related information and help our marketing team produce culturally appropriate, engaging Korean content.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Translate English-language materials (e.g., news articles, policies, marketing messages) into accurate and engaging Korean social media content.
- Assist the Marketing Executive, Graphic Designer, and Video Editor in creating Korean-language materials across social media, websites, brochures, and videos.
- Review and refine Korean copy to ensure it reads naturally and aligns with the brand voice.
- Translate or transcribe Korean subtitles for videos and assist in localising visual content.
- Monitor changes in Australian migration and education policy and support timely translation of updates into Korean.

**Key Requirements**:

- **Excellent Korean writing and listening skills** with a strong command of grammar, tone, and cultural nuances.
- **Intermediate English reading ability** - capable of understanding Australian migration and education content to translate into Korean.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in translation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a creative team.
- Experience in translation for marketing, education, or government sectors is highly desirable.
- Preferably, **content creation skills** (e.g. writing scripts for social media) are a plus.
- Familiarity with basic design tools (e.g., Canva) or subtitle platforms is a bonus but not required.

**Salary Package + Performance Bonus**

The performance bonus is linked to the achievement of the company’s revenue targets.

RIVERS also provides meal incentives for working days.
