**Company**: Qualcomm Vietnam Company Limited, Hanoi Branch Office **Job Area**: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Machine Learning Engineering **General Summary**: **Job Summary** **Key responsibilities** - AI Integration on Android: Collaborate with AI researchers to deploy machine learning models on Android devices, ensuring efficient and scalable performance. - Tooling & Infrastructure: Build tools and frameworks to support rapid development, testing, and deployment of AI-powered Android apps. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with cross-disciplinary teams including AI researchers, UX designers, and system engineers to deliver seamless user experiences. - Documentation & Support: Maintain clear documentation of code, APIs, and workflows to support team collaboration and future development. **Requirements**: **Education & Background** - Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. **Technical Skills** - Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java for Android development. - Familiarity with Android SDK and modern Android architecture components. - Experience integrating ML models using TensorFlow Lite, ONNX, or Qualcomm’s SNPE. - Understanding of Android performance profiling and debugging tools. - Expert knowledge in designing concurrency and parallelism algorithms - Prior experience with working at low-level of Android such as HAL is a plus. **AI/ML Integration** - Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and ability to work with AI engineers to integrate models. - Experience with on-device model optimization techniques (e.g., quantization, pruning) is a plus. **Soft Skills** - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, research-driven environment. **Minimum Qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience. OR PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
