**Job Summary**
- As a Standard Chartered Relationship Manager in SME Banking, you’ll be responsible for managing and developing relationships with mid-sized and emerging corporates to drive business growth and meet the bank's strategic objectives. You’ll provide exceptional customer service with the provision of financial solutions while managing operational risk and regulatory requirements.**Key Responsibilities**
- To achieve agreed individual financial and non-financial targets by acquiring, growing, and retaining profitable Medium Enterprise customers within acceptable risk parameters.
- Contribute toward achieving the team’s overall target and delivering optimal portfolio return.
- Collaborate and build effective partnerships with other Relationship Managers, Credit Analysts, Team Managers, Segment Heads, colleagues in Client Due Diligence, and partners in Risk, Compliance, other support functions, and Product.

- Tie up with companies
- Drive sourcing and activation booths in approved companies
- Track and monitor sales productivity to maximize business opportunities and cross sell rates to achieve agreed targets and provide efficient service quality
- Manage and maintain corporate relationship to drive acquisition volumes for personal products like payroll, personal loan and mortgage loan and cross-sell Bancasurance.
- Drive company upgrades from portfolio companies to Primary and Secondary EB companies
- Manage and maintain the development of strong and differentiated product propositions, customized pricing for corporate working with RBP, Wealth, RC segments, CI/CM teams at both corporate and employee level
- Selectively broaden product offerings to maximize “Share of Wallet” for Primary and Secondary EB customers, and deliver and drive target PPC
- Work with other segments including Corporate and Transaction banking and Business Banking to cross pollinate the client base.
- Track market share and competition, derive insights to competitor strategies and take proactive steps
- Corporate interface on initial set-up, and ensure correct on boarding/ listing and categorization of corporate
- Responsible for ensuring compliance, with respect to corporate listing.
- Ensure smooth set up of payroll processing for corporate and facilitate system interface
- Arrive at specific portfolio campaigns at R.M level, Corporate category/ key corporate level
- Drive the system towards service quality standards in an efficient operation where risks are well controlled
- Responsible to manage service camps and corporate related service complaints and support
**Skills and Experience**
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in serving Business, Commercial and Corporate clients.
- Experience servicing cross-border international businesses.
- Proven track record in client relationship management and business development.
- Demonstrates strong understanding of accounting principles, financial modelling, and financial statement analysis.
- Able to assess client creditworthiness and provide key risk considerations and mitigations.
- Sound product knowledge on trade, cash, lending, and FX.
- Strong understanding of local industries, supply and value chains, and market environment.
- Knowledge of operational procedures, documentation requirements, banking practices and regulations related to SME Banking.
- Strong understanding in business guidelines and compliance issues.
- Sound knowledge of financial markets and investment products.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Motivated self-starter, identifying opportunities, providing innovative approaches to meet client needs.
