**What you will do**:
Your responsibilities will include:

- Contribute to sprint planning and work estimation based on Agile methodology
- Participation and contributions to specification grooming sessions as per Product Led development methodology.
- Analysis of user stories to propose software solutions that meets the specifications
- Development of solutions as per software solution design and requirements specifications
- Defect rectification from progression and regression testing
- Rectification of production defects as required
- Adherence to set time frames and deadlines
- Ensure adequate level of quality of all work undertaken
- Ensure process is followed in relation to source code management and build processes
- Building new re-usable components and contributing to our component library
- Writing high quality & maintainable code in-line with Sympli’s internal standards
- Working collaboratively with the products and UI/UX team and assisting in design activities
- Troubleshooting production issues as required

**What you should have**:

- Qualifications in Computer Science or similar field
- At least 4 years of experience as software engineers
- At least 2 years of experience with UI technologies including:

- HTML5 and DOM (Document Object Model)
- CSS
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- jQuery
- React
- React - npm (Node Package Manager)
- Redux
- AJAX calls
- Web API
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Experience with creating solutions suited for selenium test automation
- Experiencing building SPAs & integrating with backend APIs
- Knowledge of front-end design patterns & principles of maintainable code
- Source control (Git)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong organization skills and high attention to detail

The following skills are not required but considered a plus:

- Experience with Material-UI, Formik and Redux-Saga
- Understanding of CI/CD principles
- Experience working in a start-up, financial services, or regulated environment
- Knowledge of OWASP & secure coding practices
- C#
