Development is the largest discipline at Endava. Our developers design, build, and release software products in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries. As a Senior Developer at Endava, you are responsible for implementing and delivering high-quality software products using Agile Scrum methodology. As a part of a global project, you can contribute your technical expertise and experience in order to the project succeed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement RESTful APIs, services, and server-side logic.
- Write clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with Frontend Developers, Product Owners, and Testers to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Actively participate in technical discussions.
- Review and provide constructive feedback on the work of development team members.
- Participate in the review of the work done by development team members.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Explore and integrate new technologies to improve the development process and project outcomes.
- Share expertise and lessons learned from projects to foster team growth and improvement.
- Propose solutions independently and demonstrate the ability to articulate these solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:
**Mandatory skills**:

- Strong expertise in Python with 3+ years of experience.
- Solid experience with Django and Django REST Framework (DRF).
- In-depth understanding of RESTful API principles and design.
- Experience in developing Web APIs, Web Services, REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
- Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with database optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of Redis and caching mechanisms.
- Proficiency with Docker for containerization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
- Proficient with Git and Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with unit/integration testing practices.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of design principles and patterns (e.g., SOLID, dependency injection) and adherence to quality standards.
- Good communication in English, client facing skills.

**Desired skills**:

- Familiarity with ReactJS.
- Ability to learn quickly, demonstrate sociability, and work proactively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
