**Job Description** Role**: Support growth initiatives for Mattel Vietnam suppliers by developing, qualifying, and monitoring suppliers in Vietnam. Certify suppliers to support FG manufacturers in Vietnam and continuously drive the supplier’s QMS and components’ quality improvement

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop, qualify, and monitor suppliers’ quality management systems, as well as assess readiness for new or potential regulatory, legislative, or sustainability requirements/initiatives.
- Assist or lead suppliers in problem-solving and root cause investigation for preventive actions.
- Track and review the results of quality KPIs with suppliers to determine prompt actions.
- Provide training to suppliers on updated Mattel procedures and requirements, then monitor procedural enhancements and implementation.

**Qualifications**
- University or Technical College graduate with major in industrial or other relevant engineering disciplines.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ solid experience in product quality control, prefer in Toys industry / household applicant / consumer product / injection plastic.
- Good communication in English, ability to speak basic Mandarin is an advantage.
- Good knowledge on QMS, manufacturing process.
- Good presentation, decisive and negotiation skills. Creativity and innovative thinking.
- Frequent local travelling is required, occasionally need to stay factories for couple days to weeks.
- Self-motivated individual with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
