As a Backend Engineer for Search and Personalization team, you will build high performance, scalable and testable components in our platform with PHP, Golang, MySQL and other technologies. You will be working in a diverse, international setting with teammates who are experts in various topics. In Search and Personalization squad, we work in Scrum/Agile setting and are highly goal driven. We understand the problems and brings solution by making features and microservices which will have a direct impact on our customer experience. We often conduct workshops to improve our individual skill sets, and to improve our workflow as a team. The role is based in our Vietnam office.

**Requirements**:

- BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
- 4+ years of experience with high-traffic distributed systems and client-server architectures.
- Solid computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, design patterns, Concurrency).
- Proficient with PHP, Golang
- Experience in web development.
- Good understanding of databases like mysql, document databases.
- Agile/Scrum understanding - is an advantage.
- Good at English, proactive, willing to take great challenges.
- Taking ownership of tasks.
- Curious and a fast learner. We believe you can learn a lot more if you are curious about new technologies and how things work.
