**About the role**:
Position: Chief Medical Officer

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Term: Residential/ Full-time

As the Chief Medical Office, the core responsibility is to provide primary and emergency medical care to patients and clients. This includes managing the delivery of competent and professional health services according to the International SOS standards.

**Key responsibilities**:
This role will be working with members of the Senior Management Team on initiatives to enhance the clinic profile and activity. This will also assist the local Sales and Marketing Department in explaining International SOS’s medical services to prospective and existing clients.

**About you**:
**W**e are looking for superstars with the following:

- Full registration and **license to practice medicine** **in country of origin and in Vietnam.**
- Medical doctor with over **5 years post-graduation experience** gained within **general practice and emergency medicine.**
- Sound knowledge of the principles of general practice management and administration.
- Familiarity with **ACLS, PALS, ATLS** or similar protocols, essential.
- Post-graduation experience in **Women’s Health Issues, Gynecology** would be an advantage.
- Varied international medical and/or health care system experience, an advantage.
- Experience in** Assistance and Remote Area Medicine**, an advantage.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Professional and Quality of Care focused.
- Confident clinical decision-making skills, using evidence-based practice.
- Multi-disciplinary team player and excellent time management skills.
- Work effectively with non-medical staff
- Excellent inter-personal relationship skills and Cultural awareness
