You assist in planning, developing and execution of capital projects, technical development, feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in the supply chain and capital-expense project execution to support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity with the highest level of quality, safety and environmental requirements. You help ensure sure that Mondelēz business and innovation processes in project management and Mondelēz standards in execution are followed.

**How you will contribute**

The role supports capital project execution, and you will be accountable for the quality of the results and execution of capital projects using Mondelēz standards, and business and innovation processes in project management. You will help define and deliver the capital and technical agenda during the development phase of capital investments with stakeholders so that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are provided and develop the capital budget according to the contract and forecast cash flow. You will also help ensure that applicable engineering developments and standards are properly implemented, and support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices.

**General scope of work**:

- This position is accountable for planning, leading productivity projects, engineering works for New Product Development (NPD) Projects which will directly impact plant productivity, capacity, product quality and Safety/Health/Environmental (HSE) improvement.
- Actively seeks technical and plant operation information by keeping abreast with current plant capacities, efficiencies, HSE and quality issues to ensure all relevant data are secured and analyzed for effective project planning and continually offer new ideas to improve plant performance.
- Ensure that plant operators and maintenance personnel are adequately trained and developed to operate and maintain newly installed equipment and technology by implementing proper training and procedures. Also for all plant equipment, facilities and installation comply with statutory regulations. Company policy and Mondelez International Engineering standards to provide a safe working environment.

**Main responsibilities**:
1. Projects - Capacity/Productivity/NPD
- Investigates, evaluates, plans, consults, implements assigned projects by ensuring that the set objectives are met by timely completion of the project within budgeted cost. Assigned projects could be productivity projects, expansion plans, NPD Projects and special projects which will directly impact plant productivity, capacity, product quality and safety/ health/ environmental improvement.
- Prepares conceptual studies and/ or plant expansion proposals by developing preliminary engineering designs and budgetary estimates in order to provide management with timely and complete project information and feasibility upon which to base decision.
- Actively seeks technical and plant operation information by keeping abreast with current plant capacities, efficiencies, HSE and quality issues in order to ensure all relevant data are secured and analyzed for effective project planning and continually offer new ideas to improve plant performance.

2. Cost Control / Productivity
- Ensure all purchase requisitions comply with the Mondelez Procurement requirements.
- Monthly CAPEX Tracking and spending

3. Safety/ Health/ Environment Affairs
- Ensures that all plant equipment, facilities, utilities related to projects comply with statutory regulations, company policy, Mondelēz Engineering Standards in order to provide safe working environment.
- Observes a safe working environment by following guidelines in using the proper wearing of personnel protective equipment while in the plant and by reporting to his immediate superior all unsafe acts and conditions to protect himself from accidents and the company assets from damage as well as the safety of his colleagues.
- Participants in environment and health affairs by promoting awareness and refraining from acts, which are detrimental to the environment and health in order to ensure compliance with administrative and government regulations.

4. GMP/MIA/ ISO Audit Expectations
- Observes Good Manufacturing Practices by following its guidelines to protect the company products from possible contamination and rejection.
- Reports all deficiencies contrary to Mondelēz audit expect
