- Job Description-
** Job Summary**:-The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing product costing, inventory valuation, and cost analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting and support strategic decision-making. This role also plays a key part in maintaining compliance with accounting standards, optimizing processes within SAP, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance cost efficiency and financial control.-
** Responsibilities**:-**_ 1. Product Costing & Inventory Valuation_**-- Manage product costing activities and ensure accurate inventory valuation in line with company policies.
- Monitor standard costs, review updates, and reconcile discrepancies between actual and standard costs.
-**_ 2. Cost Analysis & Control_**-- Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances to identify root causes and propose corrective actions.
- Conduct cost control reviews and highlight potential areas for cost optimization and savings.
-**_ 3. Financial Reporting & Closing Support_**-- Prepare detailed costing, margin, and variance reports to support business performance reviews.
- Collaborate with the finance team in month-end and year-end closings to ensure accurate cost data.
-**_ 4. Compliance & Audit Coordination_**-- Ensure all costing and inventory processes comply with **Vietnam Accounting Standards (VAS)** and **International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)**.
- Work closely with internal and external auditors on cost-related matters and documentation.
-**_ 5. System Management & Process Improvement_**-- Maintain and update **SAP** costing setup, ensuring system accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the reliability and timeliness of cost information.

-** Qualifications**:-- Strong knowledge of **standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting**.
- Hands-on experience with **ERP systems** (SAP, Oracle, or Express preferred).
- Solid understanding of **IFRS** and **local accounting standards (VAS)**.
- High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting, Finance, or related field**; professional certification (CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** and strong data management skills.
- **Willing to work in Bau Bang Factory (**Working time 8:00 - 17:00 from Monday to Friday)
