**Position Summary**:
**Job Title**: Product Quality Management Consulting Specialist

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical support and education to designers, developers, and material designers on last, pattern, construction, last, costing, bottoms, tooling, grading and manufacturability.
- Work with wear testing and development to ensure product fit & comfort and athlete performance are improving each season based on wear test reports and product reviews.
- Take a lead role in transitioning new innovations to assigned inline category. Ensure product is proven and tested. Assist in building Innovation Platform Best Practices. Collaborate with Innovation, Asia Engineering and Development to ensure innovation and category product requirements are met.
- Research & Development (R&D) - Lead product improvement efforts by providing benchmarking, competitor, and product comparison studies on a seasonal basis. Conduct industry research in the areas of lasts, fit, patterns, and bottoms. Collaborate with T1’s, T2’s, Human Performance Lab and outside R&D resources.
- Learn how to manage/support the Factory Direct Development Program, which supports the accurate and timely seasonal development, engineering, testing and costing process in close collaboration with UA HQ, UA Local teams, and the factory partner.
- Understand the product, vision and expectations of the Under Armour brand, and learn how to educate factory partners to understand and consistently execute against those UA expectations accordingly.
- Manage questions related to product design and specification requirements as detailed by the HQ product team in order to save time, while maintaining an emphasis on performance and integrity.
- Learn about supplier timelines (ex. mold and last creation; material order lead times; etc.) and ensures that UA delivery timelines are consistently met by the factory partners.

**Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)**:

- Knowledge of footwear manufacturing process
- Experience at multinational corporations in sportswear product is a plus
- Adequate technical understanding of pattern engineering, mold making, footwear grading, and material processing
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Proficiency in required software such as Centric, WebEx, and Microsoft Office

**Education And / Or Experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Engineering
- 3-4 years of experience in footwear development or manufacturing
