Here is what you need to know about the job:
We are looking for an experienced Finance professional, preferably with a background in the Freight Forwarding industry. This is a 6-month contract role with the potential for conversion to a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
- Full set of accounts encompassing responsibilities in AR, AP, and GL
- Manage daily payments closely with the shared services center (AP)
- Manage account receivables and cashflow
- Provide monthly reports and analyses on a timely basis to support management decisions and satisfy corporate requirements
- Manage full accounting functions to support daily business operations and ensure accurate financial results in management and statutory accounts
- Support budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with country BU management and provide analyses for presentation to corporate management
- Monitor working capital, cashflow, banking facilities and credit control process to ensure business risks within corporate policy
- Timely preparation, review, and submission of taxation reports such as VAT, withholding tax filings, tax return information packages.
- Liaison with external auditors
- Supporting Business Development / Operation team in terms of financial information which required
- Review and improve internal control procedures
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
