We are now seeking a Sales Agronomist whose primary responsibilities include meeting volume target in assigned region, as well as conducting agronomy and marketing initiatives for the designated region.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Regional volume delivering
- Implement regional action plans assigned by the Regional Manager.
- Drive sales volume and revenue growth as per commercial KPIs.
- Collaborate with marketing and agronomy teams to ensure commercial excellence.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers and key farmer networks to strengthen brand presence and sales impact.
2. Agronomy & Fertigation Support
- Act as the technical expert in fertigation, irrigation efficiency, and plant nutrition management.
- Conduct on-farm demonstrations, field days, and trials showcasing fertigation solutions.
- Monitor soil, water, and crop nutrition status, recommending precise solutions to maximize yield and quality.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence on farmer practices, competitor activities, and technology adoption trends.
3. Marketing & Demand Creation
- Contribute to annual action plans for demand creation and solution selling, with a strong emphasis on fertigation.
- Support localized promotional campaigns, including digital initiatives, to drive awareness and adoption.
- Ensure consistent branding and visibility of Yara products and solutions in the Highlands region.
4. Other responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Yara’s Ethics & Compliance and HESQ standards.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within daily operations.
- Represent Yara as a trusted partner for sustainable fertigation practices.

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy or Commercial field with coursework in plant science, soil science, plant health and plant nutrition.
Work Experience Requirements
- At least 2-year relevant experience in crop science/crop nutrition company
- Demonstrated ability to deliver commercial results.
- Business knowledge/Business sense: Understand the organization, industry, business fundamentals of priorities.
