**Job Summary**:
Execute procurement strategy/plans, identification of business requirements, supplier tender process and procurement activities to ensure sourcing of suppliers and stocks that meet business requirements

**General Responsibilities**:

- Support the execution of procurement plans that will result in cost savings and greater economies of scale in line with the Group's procurement framework
- Gather inputs on business requirements/specifications based on sales trends, stock planning/forecasts, etc. Conduct general market research on potential suppliers, aligning it to business requirements that cater to business needs
- Provide administrative support in the supplier tender process, including evaluation, selection, contract negotiation and finalization, adhering to ethical business practices. Support the execution of contract renewal/discontinuation processes
- Prepare and maintain records of purchasing documentation (e.g. purchase orders, shipping documents, etc.). Validate suppliers' invoices and prepare documentation to facilitate the payment process (e.g. goods received note, payment voucher, etc.)
- Follow up on orders/shipment progress and check stock quantities/quality/pricing against that agreed. Escalate any stock variances and discrepancies in stock quality
- Gather and compile monthly purchasing information for the purposes of purchasing reports preparation
- Compile information and coordinate administrative activities related to claims to support Quality Assurance, Legal and management in minimizing liabilities and financial exposure
- Respond to basic queries and requests from internal stakeholders related to purchasing documentation, shipping progress, delivery dates, etc. to cater to stakeholders' needs
- Work closely with suppliers, shipping and logistics companies, etc. to ensure the accuracy of quantity, quality and timely delivery of stocks

**Functional Skills and Knowledge**:

- Demonstrate basic knowledge and hands-on experience in supply chain management/procurement/contract management/vendor management
- Proven hands-on experience handling SAP and enterprise resource planning (ERP) system (preferred)
- Demonstrate basic research and analytical skills
- Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

**Education**:
Degree or professional qualification in Business Administration or related field
