**About The Position**

Join OPSWAT as a Director of Software Engineering as part of the OEM product team contributing to the engineering success of OPSWAT's OEM platforms (OESIS & Vulnerability). In this position, reporting to the Vice President of Products, you will own the teams responsible for developing and maintaining products that enhance the overall OEM solution. This position is aimed at an individual with demonstrated success building and leading teams delivering software solutions in the security space at a tactical level.

**What You Will be Doing**
- Partner with Product Management team to develop, lead and execute new product features (2%)
- Work with the Engineering team and Product Management to provide input on product roadmaps (1%)
- Lead other software development managers as part of the larger OEM product development organization (50%)
- Review PRDs and provide feedback and guidance to the Engineering team (9%)
- Review and improve existing engineering processes (8%)
- Drive innovation and steer the product technology to a leading market position (5%)
- Mentor, coach and provide career path opportunities to team members (15%)

**What We Need from You**
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related major
- Directly lead multiple projects simultaneously through the full SDLC
- Prior experience in software products/services for the security space
- Passion for building leading technology
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience implementing software engineering industry best practices

**It Would be Nice if You Had**
- Experience developing network security or identity access solutions
- Experience developing cloud delivered services or products
- Experience implementing SDLC with a strong focus on secure coding and design
- Familiarity with endpoint security controls
- Familiarity with operating system and device management.
