Turns out it’s kind of a big deal. As one of the largest tech platforms for a huge industry (the phone or computer you’re reading this on was, after all shipped), we’ve been crushing it with double-digit growth, year after year.

Since we aim for the sky (air freight tech company and all ), we’re now bringing all air cargo bookings online with eBookings, creating the world’s largest live air freight platform with companies like United Airlines, Air France, IAG, and many more.

And, if you haven’t guessed by now, we need someone to help us in Asia. As a** Business Development Consultant,** you will support the global transformation of the industry, introducing freight forwarders in Asia to a radically faster way to book freight. Remember the first time someone showed you an iPhone? It’s like that, but every day. Doing this well includes:
**Responsibilities**
- You will help establish a framework for customer engagementand then make it happen.
- You will support a goal of monthly eBookings.
- How? Help us localize the ways customers hear about or read about us - cold calls, product demo, eDM, marketing collaterals, and show people just how incredible eBookings can be.
- Most importantly, help customers in Asia where and when needed, alongside with your WebCargo team members in various locations in Asia and Europe.

**Requirements**:
**Basic Requirements**
- You have to talk the talk. This means you need to be a fluent English speaker and a fluent Vietnamese speaker.
- You should have at least 5 years of experience in giving customer-facing support, training, or localization/translation/interpretation in technology or logistics sectors.
- Effective training and communication skills to be able to help new users understand the platform, and help them adopt a new way of booking freight.
- Patient, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Effective communication skills and ability to interact at different levels of Webcargo’s partner organizations.

**Preferred Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or in a field related to Logistics or Supply Chain.
- Knowledge of the air cargo industry or experience (direct or indirect) with air freight/logistics.

**Additional information**
- The Business Development Consultant will be based in Vietnam, and be an independent consultant providing consultation services to Freightos.
- Time zone: UTC/GMT +7 hours (Vietnam local hours).
- Able to perform a part-time role (around 80h/month). Capacity may increase in near future.
- You will need to be available preferably between 11 AM to 6 PM local time, Monday to Thursday.
