**Requirements/ Desired skills and experience**

**Must-Have**:

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the cybersecurity field performing security assessments against best practice security controls for workloads/systems
- Demonstrable experience in security solution architecture development, including key design decisions, preferably in a large enterprise environment, ideally in the financial industry
- Tertiary or equivalent qualifications in relevant technical fields
- Security certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, CISA, etc., are highly regarded
- Ability to collaborate and contribute independently
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate innovation independently
- Customer-focused mindset, with the ability to contribute independently
- Driven to achieve results independently
- Nimble learning ability, contributing independently
- Conduct security assessments to ensure workloads/systems comply with appropriate security controls, including providing recommendations to align solutions with customer’s risk appetite (includes threat assessments)
- Assess and approve solution architectures as input into security assessments
- Review and approve penetration testing results
- Excellent stakeholder management skills related to security architecture activities and dependencies, with the ability to communicate assessment outcomes and expectations to technical and business stakeholders
- Perform risk assessments and consult with the Risk team to ensure proper ownership
- Provide a working knowledge of security controls across one or more public cloud providers (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Integrate SaaS/PaaS into enterprise compliance and monitoring systems
- Knowledge of security frameworks and controls, e.g., NIST Framework, ISO27001, Essential 8, CIS Top 20
- Perform security controls assessment and provide recommendations based on workflows, data, authentication, and security controls
- Experience working with stakeholders, such as product owners, partners, and delivery teams, to understand risk, communicate mitigation options, and seek exceptions where required
- Conversant in at least one of AWS or Azure
- Good English communication

**Nice-to-Have**:

- Understanding of cybersecurity vulnerabilities and hardening security stance of cloud solutions and services, or containers.

**Future Needs**:

- Expertise in data safety principles, data, and infrastructure level for upcoming focus on data safety.
- Experience in data center infrastructure work and software-defined networking, e.g., SDWAN, mainframe infrastructure.

**Soft and Communication Skills**:
