Production Planner

1. Job Overview: Responsible for all activities related to production planning.

2. Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
2.1. Driving the capacity of production lines to ensure best optimization which meets Demand requirements and Plant performance

2.2. Build up the monthly Production Master Schedule (PMS) in PID wise based on latest MPS, DRP + Forecast and manage it within allowed deviation against quarterly PMS

2.3. Schedule and deploy raw materials supply plan to cover production demand and maintain inventory within target level

2.4. Control the raw material ordering and receiving within allowed deviation against the forecast

2.5. Determine the movement of FG inventory (ABC analysis) to ensure production plan of each item is in line with quarterly PMS and target inventory levels

2.6. Calculate and confirm the deviation factors of compound consumptions for each quarter

2.7. Calculate and confirm suitable material available date for each item in the order book to satisfy business need and customer’s request

2.8. Evaluating material supply plan and weekly demand to identify gaps in service as to develop suitable weekly production plan

2.9. Converting into daily production schedule based on the best balance between Production Plan and Customer Orders to ensure customer satisfaction and plant efficiency

2.10. Monitor production orders status, review production performance to ensure timely delivery, flagging any backlog quantity, work out the root cause, solve problem quickly

2.11. Regularly interaction with Production team to assist production output adherence to plan

2.12. Driving on weekly meeting with other functions regarding to the production issues/technical issues/quality issues,

2.13. Responsible for mold/core changing schedule, co-ordinate with Production and Engineering in saving change-over

2.14. Constant interaction with Engineering team regarding to equipment status for output controlling

2.15. Responsible for other tasks related to Production planning if any

2.16. To ensure all transactions related to Production planning processes in SAP are performed correctly and timely

2.17. To inform Managements of any irregularities or problems that requires assistance

2.18. Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurately

2.19. Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

2.20. Having the authorities within the assigned function

2.21. Adhere Company quality systems.

2.22. Adhere Company Safety Rules.

Education and working experience required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Management or relevant.
- Experience:

- Professional experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning. Having experiences in Shipping planning is an advantage.
- Leadership experience: Not required
