Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join our team in software quality assurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing functional test cases to ensure the software meets the intended requirements and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop test cases to cover all aspects of software functionality.
- Execute test cases and report defects to the development team.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize testing tasks.
- Develop and maintain test scripts and environments.
- Participate in the improvement of test processes and propose new ideas to enhance customer satisfaction and product quality.
- Review test cases and scripts created by other team members to ensure proper test coverage.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure necessary data, builds, and infrastructure are available and functional.
- Guide and manage the user acceptance phase of testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with software development life cycle methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
- Familiarity with test management tools (Jira/Testrail).
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and independence skills.
- Ability to work effectively with internal and distributed teams.
- Knowledge of cross-browser and mobile testing.
- Bonus points for experience with test automation tools and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
