We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Dikshatek. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services.
About the Role:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive up quality and deliver high-quality products.
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to identify and mitigate risks.
- Create test plans, test cases, and other relevant documentation to support testing activities.
- Carry out functional testing, smoke testing, regression testing, and exploratory testing as required.
- Communicate status, risks, and issues to management and team members to prevent defects.
- Leverage automation testing tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
- Balancing 80% manual testing and 20% autotest.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/testing, preferably in finance/banking.
- Proven experience in software testing for web applications and mobile applications (iOS and Android).
- Strong expertise in API testing (RESTful API, SOAP API) using Postman and SOAPUI.
- Familiarity with database queries, SQL, and NoSQL.
- Experience with issue/test management tools: Jira, Confluence, TestRail.
- Understanding of fundamental concepts of software testing, including functional and non-functional testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with Agile teams.
- Competence in requirements analysis and testing.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Proficiency in English language (written, spoken, read, and listened).
- Flexibility and ability to work effectively with internal and external clients.
- Strong motivation, intellect, resourcefulness, independence, and energy.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related field.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (Java, Python).
- Software development experience.
- Performance testing experience.
