**Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated Remote QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating automated tests and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Working directly under a senior software engineer based in Singapore, you will be at the forefront of new feature releases, ensuring their stability through a combination of manual and automated testing. Effective communication with the development team is crucial, as is the ability to diagnose and pinpoint which feature may be causing an issue.You will be working with and receiving mentorship from an energetic team with strong industry, cross-functional, and international experience. **Responsibilities**
- Design and implement automated testing processes using appropriate tools and frameworks.
- Stay updated with new feature releases and ensure their stability through rigorous testing.
- Conduct a combination of manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure software quality.
- Collaborate closely with the development team, providing feedback and ensuring effective communication regarding feature stability.
- Diagnose and identify specific features causing issues, ensuring swift resolution.
- Report defects and issues in a clear and detailed manner, ensuring the development team understands the nature and severity of the problem.
- Work under the guidance of a senior software engineer, contributing to the overall quality assurance strategy and process.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques and tools.
- Strong knowledge of frontend and backend technologies.
- Experience in designing and executing test cases.
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems and test management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, especially in a remote work setting.
- Ability to diagnose issues and provide clear feedback to development teams.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Continuous learning mindset and adaptability.
