**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Strategy**
- Awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and model appropriate to the role.
- Being accountable for ensuring proper and effective field collection actions are taken against delinquent non-contactable accounts in order to achieve daily, weekly & monthly collections targets.

**Business**
- Being responsible for escalating any potential variances to collections targets, to supervisors.
- Being responsible for providing feedback, observations and intelligence on delinquency trends and customer behaviours, potential risk/trend on debt market to supervisors and collections management, on a timely basis.
- Having/proposing solution to help customers’ problem with obtaining reasonable outcome to the bank.
- Improving bank’s reputation (client experiences )

**Processes**
- Performing call dunning activities or field visits to delinquent customers requesting for repayments.
- Propose to send reminder letters, postcards, facsimile notices, telegram to customers who are unable to be located.
- Being responsible for working expeditiously on all accounts assigned and updating collection diaries in the collections tracking reports.
- Following up the result of all collections activities which have been done to see how it is successful.
- Propose to Managers and following up customers’ requirement e.g. waiving interest or penalty fee, changing address etc.
- Being responsible for escalating and reporting any complaints and fraudulent cases to supervisors at the earliest instance.
- Taking personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Complying to all relevant policies, processes, procedures

**People and Talent**
- Being example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations in collaboration with managers and stakeholders.

**Risk Management**
- Monitoring and reporting suspicious case of fraud or any sign of risk occur
- Monitoring and reporting suspicious money laundering transaction/activities to Country MLPO

**Governance**
- Handling daily report of delinquent accounts which have been called or visited to report the result of those activities to Collection Head.
- Responsible for maintaining the professional image of SCB through compliance with the guidelines specified in the, Bank’s Code of Conduct/Collectors’ Code of Conduct
- Ongoing self refresher training on Money Laundering Prevent
- Being accountable for complying with the Bank’s compulsory training curriculum and additional development programs. Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
- Exercising authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association
