**The Role**
- The purpose of the Front-end Software Engineer role is to investigate new technology whist creating, evaluating and maintaining existing software.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Research of new and existing technologies
- Day to day maintenance of existing software including the Frontend of the Development team software
- Basic creation of high level technical documentation and specifications
- Ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all IT business information
- Assume proactive involvement in personal and technical development
- Work well as part of a team and on their own initiative

**Required Experience**
- Ideally a Software Engineer has two or more years’ experience within their respective field.
- Exposure to CMS e.g. Wordpress / Joomla / Drupal / OctoberCMS or custom made
- Working with Frontend Development and required Technologies (see technical competencies)
- Experience in creation of technical documentation
- Basic backend development PHP / MySQL (advantageous)
