**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Opentext UFT to validate the functionality and performance of the retail POS system.
- Perform manual testing when needed
- Assist in test case maintenance, including reviewing and updating test scripts as needed.
- Execute automated tests using Opentext UFT and analyze test results to identify any issues or defects.
- Work closely with the development team to investigate and resolve defects, providing detailed information and steps to reproduce.
- Utilize HP ALM for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Auto Tester or Software Test Engineer, preferably in the retail domain or POS projects.
- Strong proficiency in designing and implementing automated test scripts using Opentext UFT or similar test automation tools.
- Experience with HP ALM or similar tools for test case management and defect tracking.
- Solid understanding of test methodologies, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and agile development practices.
- Experience in a programming language, VBScript is an advantage
- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL for data validation and verification.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and work under tight deadlines.
