**Location**: Work From Home

**Position Title**: QA/Tester

**Position Overview**:
The QA/Tester will be responsible for conducting thorough manual testing of our software products to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and functionality before deployment. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with the project management team to clarify and narrow down requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for manual testing.
- Perform comprehensive manual testing to identify defects, bugs, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with the project management team to understand and refine project requirements.
- Report and track defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring issues are documented and resolved efficiently.
- Ensure that all manual testing activities are carried out in accordance with established processes and standards.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, test results, and any issues encountered.
- Provide feedback on testability and potential risks during requirement reviews.
- Optionally, contribute to the automation testing efforts if knowledgeable in this area.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role with a focus on manual testing.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing detailed test cases and test plans.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- Ability to work closely with project managers to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive testing.
- Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus but not required.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
