Senior Safety Instrumented System Engineer

**What We Can Offer**:
Senior SIS Engineer is responsible to provide support services to other departments in accordance with established working procedures. Responsibilities include assuring effective utilization of technical quality and ensuring appropriate safety standards.Responsibility For this position, minimum works are as follows;
- Participate and facilitate Functional Safety Assessment, LOPA / SIL assignment review meetings;
- Assist and complete MOCs, P&IDs, PHAs as they relate to SIS Instrumentation. Support activities to ensure that the design conforms to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and other requirements. Communicate with SIS vendors and technical consultants to resolve complex issues concerning new technology and upgrades of SIS system. Recommend modifications to improve the performance of field instrumentations and Logic solver. Develop standards and establish guidelines for preventive, break-down and predictive maintenance activities. Update the engineering standards as needed in order to ensure that all new equipment is engineered and purchased with the safest and best technology available. Provide controls engineering services during turnaround activities
- Instruct and supervise SIS Engineers for implementation of SIS system. Carry out the job instructed by Section Manager and SIS Leader

**Job Requirements**:
Educational Level : University GraduatedWork Experience : Min 7 year experience in industrial control systems or EquivalentSpecialty/Qualification : A bachelor’s degree in Control, Electrical and Electronic, chemistry, or equivalentSkills:

- Knowledgeable with the industrial standards and code requirements for process safety, especially Safety Instrumented System (SIS), Fire & Gas System (FGS). Experienced in the selection, specification, configuration, testing and maintenance of safety instrumented systems following IEC 61508/ 6151. Proficient with the development of all SIS Functional Safety and SIS related deliverables including Functional Safety Plans, LOPA calculations, response time calculations, SIL verification calculations, safety requirements specifications, alarm specification for SIS /IPL, Cause and Effect diagrams, system block diagrams, logic narratives, and function / logic block diagrams
