We are currently looking for a **Finance Manager in Vietnam** who will be responsible for managing the local country's full set of accounts. You must be a team player who can work within the finance department and across departments & countries with key ties alongside the local liaison person.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all monthly/quarterly financial, management and annual reports. All reports must adhere to accounting standard, rules & regulations, policy & procedures. Takes the initiative to work with other departments to deliver timely and informative reports.
- Performs balance sheet review monthly, ensures that inter company transactions are reflected properly and reconciled monthly and that payments are made in accordance with delegation policy. Ensures the integrity of general ledger.
- Continuously monitors & updates cash flow weekly: alerts respective financial controller & take necessary actions to ensure cash flow is positive.
- Oversees local tax and ensure all tax payments are duly made. Ensure that payments are only made for approved invoices.
- Review documents prior to recognising revenue and alerts managers regarding contracts with risks. Reviews and ascertains the supporting documents for all accrued revenue and advance payments.
- Monitors and analyses department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Assists in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department. Acts as support controller in special projects and workflow process improvements.
- Collaborates with other finance department managers to support overall department goals and objectives. Participates in regional operational excellence projects.
- Drives project management (costs & expenses management, special project, etc) and work with Country Head/local liaison person. Provides costing analysis for local liaison person to maintain the margin for insight mainstream and social. Supports regional finance for financial analysis (benchmarks, business cases, pipeline record, etc).
- Complies with all local legislative requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- A graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, majoring in Accounting & Finance or other related courses.
- Excellent written and verbal English. Ability to speak in other languages will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills and organisational ability. Keen to details and consistently meets deadlines.
- Demonstrates leadership capabilities. Able to lead a small high performing team.
- Proactive, identifies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- **Willing to work on a short term basis.**
