**THE TEAM**

- Our Engineering Department plans, builds and maintains the technology that drives high traffic ecommerce platforms. Our teams are organised by business domain and take ownership of everything they do in a you built it, you own it, model.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- You will work in a small, agile Java team with other Java experts and build our microservices architecture with us
- Develop and grow talent through mentoring, coaching, and retention strategies for key talent in a fast growth, highly competitive economic environment
- Investigate the latest technologies to improve site reliability, developer experience and raw performance

**THE IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE**
- We need you to help us scale our marketplace platform to match the demands of the increased eCommerce
- Your opinion counts in how we will design our new APIs and microservices architecture
- In the big picture your work will impact the lives of millions of customers shopping in countries all over the world

**Your skills and experience**:

- Very good level of English
- Expert knowledge of Java and Spring (Boot)
- Highly proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases
- You are a experienced in designing APIs
- 5+ years of experience with high-traffic distributed systems and client-server architectures
- Solid computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, design patterns)
- You are a living TDD
- Bonus points for experience with Spring Integration
