A master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field is typically required. Extensive experience in healthcare administration, with a track record of progressively responsible roles. Previous experience in a senior management or executive position is essential. In-depth knowledge of hospital operations, including clinical workflows, patient care delivery, regulatory requirements, and quality and safety standards. Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams, build relationships, and effectively manage change. Experience in managing large teams and multiple departments is desirable. Ability to think strategically and translate organizational goals into actionable plans. Experience in developing and executing operational strategies to achieve measurable outcomes. Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation. Understanding of healthcare reimbursement models and revenue cycle management is beneficial. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders effectively, including physicians, staff, patients, and external partners. The ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely is important. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in data analysis tools and systems is desirable.
