Job description

ABOUT THE JOB

Develop and maintain robust back-end solutions using the Django framework.
Design and implement a microservices architecture to meet complex business needs and scalability demands.
Create and manage RESTful APIs to ensure effective communication between front-end and back-end systems.
Implement and maintain data storage solutions with MySQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch, optimizing data handling.
Engage in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to technical decision-making to maintain code quality.
Keep abreast of back-end development trends and best practices, and mentor junior developers.
Partner with DevOps to enhance deployment processes, system reliability, and infrastructure as code practices.

ABOUT YOU

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of back-end development experience, with expertise in Python and the Django framework.
Deep understanding of containerization and experience with Docker.
Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and deployment workflows.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across distributed systems.
Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB), including data modeling and optimization.
Familiarity with Elasticsearch for search functionality and data indexing.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
Agile development methodologies and project management tools like Jira are a plus.
Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Working in Lyon (France) time zone (2PM - 10PM Vietnam Time).
