**The role**

The **Senior Tax Accountant** is responsible for the preparation of financial and accounting reports of Intrepid Vietnam and Related Parties. The key activities of a Senior Accountant are:

- Responsible for ensuring our accounting and tax documents are complete, accurate and in line with the local tax laws including Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholding tax or any other taxes that may be applicable.
- Responsible for the preparation of tax returns as well as accurate monthly, quarterly and annual tax reports or any other documentation as required and to keep complete tax records.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual tax declarations, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports.
- Review commercial contracts from the tax perspective. Work closely with the Brand Finance team to assess tax issues in business cases and propose solutions to HoF.
- Ensure billing revenue tallies with tax declarations & maintain good records on the process.
- Coordinate with other departments for non-trade transactions records.
- Continually monitor the tax regulations to ensure full compliance, maintain a good working relationship with local tax authorities.
- To be the main point of contact for any dealings with the authorities.
- Analyze and recommend appropriate actions for the company to minimize its tax burden.
- Research and recommend appropriate local tax incentives.
- Be an active member in audits exercises including statutory and tax audits.
- Support AFM on general reports/ calculations such as provision, fixed assets, financial review, balance sheet review, management reports, etc.

**Who we look for - the ideal profile**
- Bachelor Degree holder in Accounting, Tax or relevant field with at least 3 to 5 years as a tax accountant or in a similar role in a tax firm or corporate income tax department.
- Strong knowledge of the local corporate tax laws.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping processes.
- Prior experience with Netsuite as well as experience in the Retail industry is highly desirable.
- Good excel and reporting skills.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Possesses exceptional organizational skills, self-motivation and possess the ability to prioritize to get things done.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up and Ecommerce environment.
- Ability to inspire confidence and create trust
