The Senior Copywriter develops narrative spaces, language and copy in short form, copy-shots and long form to establish the tonality of ideas. They mentor the copywriter team members and encourage learning and synthesis across the writing team

**Job Description**:
Role purpose:
The copywriter is responsible for overseeing verbal aspects of creative works until end products; developing copy for assigned creative tasks under the supervision of HoC/ CD; working closely with relevant colleagues from CR/AS to produce the most effective strategic and tactical advertising for clients.

Key Accountabilities:
Creative planning & Execution management:

- Develop integrated creative concepts and content based on the creative briefs.
- Developing creative strategy with Account Service and the Art Directors to communicate the sales message in a clear, dramatic manner.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and clients in a clear and timely manner.
- Regularly work with the Art Directors to toss ideas and contribute visual ideas, check how to copy ideas that can be dramatized visually, and write copy from visual ideas.
- Supervise radio recordings and the production of TV commercials.
- Produce end product based on the client-approved plan.
- Review/check verbal aspects and all creative works to make sure they meet cost/schedule/quality requirements from clients (specifically, they can answer briefs, and meet strategy) and give appropriate feedback to team members when necessary.
- Check copy and layout to ensure they support each other and are on an agreed strategy.

Creative award: While prioritizing client satisfaction, pursue winning innovative awards so that the reputation of the company would rise in the industry.

Contribution to new business development:

- Confer with HoC/ACD on making ad proposals to potential clients when he/she deems that such proposals would benefit the clients.
- Participate in activities to develop and acquire new business when requested by the company.
- Follow through on advertising performance, being receptive to and participating in pre and post-testing research, if any.
- Keep up to date on clients’ marketing, products, consumers’ trends, and competitors’ activities, as well as local culture, etc so that effective and innovative advertising can be created.
- Assume responsibility for any other duties or projects which may be given.

Person Specification:

- Creative, innovative, flexible, and able to quickly develop concepts/ ideas.
- Good at English.
- Hardworking, can work under high pressure to meet deadlines.
- Good teamwork player who can work independently and responsibly.
- Possesses a high level of reliability, integrity, and personal ethics.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar position in an advertising agency.
- Understanding of Vietnamese literature from Classic to Modern times, Vietnamese folklore, myth, and mythology.
- Good at using common computer software of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
