**About the Department**

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor the Service Levels/ TATs / KPIs are met and/or exceeded individually and the unit.
- Act as the Single point of Contact for MCA (Manager’s Control Assessment) coordination & metrics
- Assist with the department MIS and reporting & development of presentation materials
- Projects - assist on regional or global In Business Control related projects
- Innovation - develop methods to make the review function more efficient
- Understand critical requirements of UOB policy/procedure/standards and regulatory requirements
- Perform control task on monthly / quarterly reviews & as allocated

**Job Requirements**

**_Education:_** Bachelor’s Degree. Specialization in Finance / banking / operational related qualifications would be beneficial

**_Experience: _**
- 1-2 years of experience with financial services in an operations environment
- Experience in business and process analysis is a must with awareness of the related operational controls
- Internal Audit or Compliance Assurance related experience is an advantage

**_Professional Attributes:_** Develop strong partnerships within Core Operations & with external stakeholders. Must strictly observe deadlines and cut-off times

**_Skill:_**
- Strong analytical and time management skills, excellent attention to detail.
- Should be able to make sound decisions based on information on hand
- Competence in Risk & Control, ability to identify and mitigate emerging risks based on detailed knowledge of UOB policies and procedures
- Fluent communication in English & Vietnamese
