Chief Accountant

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage all daily activities of the accounting team
- Review journal entries, ensure the accurate and timely booking of transactions. Post-closing journal entries. Reconcile accounts. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data. Prepare financial reporting packages, management report, forecast reportEnsure timely and accurate accounting reports for weekly, monthly, yearly periods.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing. Monitor fund deposit, open/renew fund deposit to optimize working capital.
- Review and approve all payment vouchers.
- Check and ensure all monthly/yearly tax reports (VAT, CIT, PIT, FCWT) are compliant with tax regulations. Work with local tax authorities.
- Monitor inventory and movements of inventory.
- Work with auditors to complete audited accounts.
- Review payroll, ensure accurate and timely payments to employees.
- Coordinate with the sales department, resolve issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare other Ad hoc reports and do tasks assigned by GM

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least 10 years of experience in Accounting in FOE/FI co/MNC, of which a minimum of 5 years as Chief Accountant
- Strong communication of both English & Vietnamese
