Specialised Firefighting Officer

**Job Summary**:
As a Specialized firefighting officer, you become a part of QHSE - CSR team. You will join in the Firefighting prevention & rescue work of the Industrial zone.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Follow company labor regulations and hierarchy;
- Managing and driving firefighting vehicles and equipment daily in a safe and effective manner.
- Corporate with related parties and perform daily maintenance of vehicles and equipment. Suggest additional, replace, and change new accessories and tools if needed.
- Handling emergency calls;
- Identifying dangerous situations and responding appropriately;
- Response in case of natural disasters, industrial accidents, car accidents, and other emergency situations;
- Implementing appropriate measures: First aid, artificial respiration, and stabilization of patients prior to hospital transfer;
- Obeying the instructions of the captain;
- Closely cooperate with other departments and teams active in our zone;
- Follow the Fire Fighting and training schedule;
- Has a responsibility to ensure vehicles and equipment are in good condition;
- Perform and coordinate periodical firefighting & Rescue inspections related to Firefighting and Safety protection systems, including but not limited to: hydrants and pumps, extinguishers, signalization, chemical/gas/pumping pipes/systems, and jetty infrastructure,;
- Be accountable for the good condition and operation of the equipment;
- Assist and coordinate repairs of FF system and equipment when needed;
- Identify safety issues in our zones and DEEP C clients with improvements;
- Understand the consistency of DEEP C industrial zones, perfectly know the locations of main and second/emergency entrances of all clients, and continuously develop knowledge of new clients in the zone, their activities, and specific risks;
- Understand and be able to operate the emergency Fire Fighting tank in DEEP C 1 and future build;
- Understand thoroughly the purpose of different firefighting FOAMS and assure the correct types are in stock/applied when needed;
- Understand and continuously train on ‘partition’ of fires;
- Understand thoroughly and be able to operate the current Fire alarm system on DEEP C 1 petrochemical Jetty and future build;
- Understand and be able to operate other safety systems in our zone, current, and new build;
- Show a lifelong learning attitude and respect superiors;
- Create a mindset with clear communication, continuous improvement, 5S
- Daily improve physical fitness and physical exercise to ensure job requirements.
- Other FF-relevant tasks as assigned by the FF & Rescue Captain and higher management.
- Perform administration works daily.

- Understand procedure, follow and are able to correct others.
- Reliable & mature
- Communicate in a mature and clear way (Vietnamese, English is not required but is a plus)
- Willing to improve yourself and your environment
- Working with active attitude.
- Strong eye for detail, any technical knowledge is a plus systems.

**Education and Experience**:
- At least two years of relevant experience
