Maintenance Engineer

You will ensure the rules of tidiness are respected and implemented according to EHS/5S standards. You will forecast and strategic planning for equipment overhauls and PM, while take into account long-term maintenance cost. Drive the monthly PM effectiveness analysis to reduce the unplanned downtime. You will provide guidance and technical expertise to internal customers and preventive maintenance. You will report directly to Operations Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Initiate and follow up the formal failure analysis for urgent MMS work orders, escalate to line manager in case of unresolved issues.
- Lead the reviews of equipment to maintain or increase the reliability of equipment (increase MTBF), benchmark PM and setup of equipment (Equipment spec, technical work guide).
- Support NPI in driving new equipment technology upgrade and engineering changes by evaluating the right specification, local regulations, time and budget.
- Provide expertise advice on new equipment spare parts management. Engage in spare parts technical specification evaluation and localization recommendation.
- Manage the maintenance execution plan with the outside vendors.
- Monitor KPIs performance such as OEE/Cycle time and make weekly report
- Drive safety improvements and risk reduction in all paint processing area following life critical rules.
- Develop and implement processes to improve paint processing, including but not limited to quality, setup time and cost in an optimal manner.
- Develop and recommend manufacturing process for new product and intermediate and manage the manufacturing process (Review, implement and recommend manufacturing process for scale up)
- Review the current manufacturing process, equipment improvements and recommend and implement to improve overall paint manufacturing process.
- Participate in CAIR / Quality Failure corrective actions driving year over year continuous improvements.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 years working experience manufacturing environment.
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation or related majors
- Experience in Equipment maintenance, Total Preventive Maintenance with minimum 3 years experience in plant machine maintenance or engineering.
- Good at technical drawing like CAD.
- Understand structure of PLC software programming, have good knowledge about automation protocol is plus.
- Practice in active use of Lean/ Six Sigma tools and Project Management. Experience of improvement project.
- Experience to lead pillars (AM) of TPM.
- Able to effectively communicate in local and English language.
