Main Responsibilities
- Manage the spare parts store and related activities in a safe manner.
- Lead to implement safety improvement activities, act immediately when unsafe behaviour occurs, stop unsafe behaviours and report high-risk activities and give feedback to the relevant people.
- Ensure critical spare parts (e.g. flowmeters, temperature transmitter, pressure transmitter, PLC) related to inspection machines or quality defects and master calibration tools have to be stored in the proper environment.
- Manage the spare parts store in accordance with the supply and inventory work processes (receiving, issuing, reconciliation and 5S).
- Manage & organise stock cycle counting following procedures and escalate to promptly resolve discrepancies between physical stock and stock data.
- Cooperate and align with procurement and planning about required and to-be-ordered parts and services; i.e. proper executing of the supply work process.
- Cooperate with procurement team to ensure spare parts and services supplies are delivered OTIF and effectively
- Manage coordination and alignment regarding handovers between the planning team and the maintenance execution team; both from handing over to execution and/or receiving returned materials from the execution team.
- Coordinate and align between maintenance planners and maintenance technicians; i.e. ensure proper spare segmentation and proper MRP (Material Resource Planning)-settings are in place and further reduce costs.
- Conduct Tagging if required or appropriate.
- Ensure that Spare Part Management reports and KPIs are monitored monthly on CMMS systems and SPM dashboard
- Manage material catalogue and technical document system
- Centralize manages asset drawings, documents, permits (licenses), warranties.
- Manage the MRP data and ensure the settings are up to date.
- Manage the material catalogue data and ensure it is up to date.
- Manage the spare segmentation data and ensure it is up to date.
- Report to the Maintenance Team Leader.
- Critical Experiences and Competencies (Skills, knowledge and behaviours)
- Preferably Bachelor's degree in Technical field: Mechatronic or Mechanical.
- At least 3 years of experience in an electrical and mechanical warehouse, repair center, dealership, or similar facility highly preferred.
- English proficiency: able to read and understand technical documents in English.
- Basic understanding of automotive parts and mechanical systems.
- Basic mathematical skills to develop and maintain invoices and inventories.
- Strong IT Skills including MS-Office Applications (MS-Outlook, MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Powerpoint).
- Implement digital & technology solutions to collect and manage spare parts master data (e.g. Maximo, BCS, PowerBI, Paperless...).
