Job Responsibilities

Oversee in
- house credit evaluation, underwriting, and collection functions. Engage closely with the country Core Team to drive the implementation of company strategy. Act as a consultant to other Business Unit Heads, continuously seeking opportunities for improving efficiency, cost management, and effectiveness.
Ensure the establishment of risk management frameworks that align with local regulatory requirements and best practices. Foster relationships with credit
- related third parties, such as credit agencies, government regulatory bodies, and associations. Assess key credit and business risks, and provide recommendations for credit and collection strategies.
Manage all aspects of the risk and compliance function, such as developing processes, tools, and systems for identifying, assessing, and reporting risks for an expanding portfolio of margin loans. This includes the creation of credit administration, debt management, and risk mitigation processes, the management of compliance and regulatory assessments, adherence to industry standards, fraud control, as well as the evaluation of portfolio performance. Collaborate with technology departments to design, test, and launch market
- optimized margin loan products.
Lead the team in devising action plans and managing the implementation of tools, policies, and regulations pertinent to risk management and compliance. Oversee recruitment, training, development, retention, attrition, and performance of team members. Support the CEO and Group Chief Risk Officer in developing and executing the country&039;s business plan, along with relevant policies and processes.

Experience Requirements

Required job skills include strong leadership qualities, coaching, decision
- making, organization, risk analysis and identification, and presentation capabilities. Fluency in both English and Vietnamese communication skills is necessary.
Possess a solid background in Big Four and/or management consulting, with at least 10 years of experience in enterprise risk control and financial operations management in large
- scale businesses across banking, public equity, fund management, financial services, and related industries. Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in credit risk management and approval positions, as well as in leading a team within a major financial institution.
Experience in managing a complex and growing banking, fund management, and/or financial services business is essential. Possess the ability to work independently, taking the initiative on tight deadlines while also multitasking across various projects and timeframes.

Educational Requirements

Preferred educational credentials include Fund Management, CFA, ACCA, CIA or CPA designations.
Hold a bachelor&039;s or master&039;s degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting and Auditing, Economics, or Securities; or MBA.
