As a Business Analyst for our Data product, you will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, creating mockups, defining acceptance criteria, and proposing solutions to achieve business objectives in the banking and financial domain.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and customers to ensure that the delivered solutions meet industry-specific needs and compliance requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Gathering and Documenting Requirements:
Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and understand business requirements for each user story.
Document user stories and their associated requirements in a clear and structured manner, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Capture and document any specific requirements related to banking and financial processes, data security, compliance, and risk management.
- Defining Acceptance Criteria:
Work closely with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria for each user story, taking into account industry-specific requirements and regulations.
Ensure that acceptance criteria are well-defined, testable, and aligned with industry best practices and standards.
Collaborate with development teams to clarify any ambiguities and ensure a shared understanding of the acceptance criteria.
- Creating Mockups:
Develop mockups or prototypes to visually represent the user stories and demonstrate the intended functionality, considering the unique requirements of the banking and financial industry.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure that the mockups align with industry-specific user experience design principles and compliance guidelines.
Seek feedback from banking and financial industry stakeholdersto validate and refine the mockups before development.
- Functional Specification:
Define API requirements, considering the integration needs with banking and financial systems, data sources, and third-party services
Create activity diagrams or flowcharts to illustrate the workflow and interactions between different components or systems, specifically tailored to the banking and financial industry.
Work closely with developers, architects, and quality assurance teams to clearly understand the functional requirements and compliance standards.
- Proposing Solutions and Enhancements:
Collaborate with the team, customers, and stakeholders in the banking and financial industry to propose solutions that meet the business objectives and comply with regulatory requirements.
Analyze existing solutions and systems in the banking and financial industry to identify areas for customization or enhancement to improve operational efficiency, risk management, compliance, and customer experience.
Facilitate meetings, share insights, and conduct seminars with stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and refine proposed solutions.
- Communication and Collaboration:
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and other project stakeholders
Conduct meetings, workshops, and interviews to gather requirements and validate proposed solutions, ensuring that they align with industry-specific needs and compliance standards.
Communicate effectively to ensure a shared understanding of requirements, compliance requirements, and deliverables among all stakeholders
Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation of business requirements, mockups, functional specifications, and compliance-related information.
Organize and manage documentation repositories, ensuring that relevant stakeholders in the banking and financial industry have access to the necessary documents.
Update documentation as changes or enhancements are made throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Requirement Validation and Testing Support:
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that test plans align with the defined requirements, acceptance criteria, and compliance standards of the banking and financial industry.
Provide support during the testing phase to clarify requirements, review test cases, and validate that the implemented solution meets the specified requirements and compliance standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, or Computer Science.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the banking and financial industry.
- Strong knowledge of banking and financial processes, products, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, documentation, and analysis.
- Experience in creating mockups, defining acceptance criteria, and developing functional specifications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with stakeholders, development teams, and customers.
