Position: Coffee Plantation & Farm Operations Manager
Location: Paksong, Laos
**Salary**: From USD 3000, Competitive, based on experience
**(Full-Time, 10+ Years Experience)**
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Farm & Production Management**:
- Oversee the daily operations of a large-scale coffee plantation.
- Ensure proper cultivation, harvesting, and post-harvest processing to maintain the highest quality standards.
- Maintain and improve soil health, irrigation, and pest control systems.
2. **Quality Control & Export Standards**:
- Monitor and maintain quality standards at every stage of production.
- Ensure all processing techniques align with export quality requirements.
- Work on certifications such as Fair Trade, Organic, Rainforest Alliance, etc., to enhance market value.
3. **Financial & Inventory Management**:
- Prepare regular reports on farm performance, including yield, quality, and financial metrics.
- Manage inventory and stock of fertilizers, equipment, and supplies, ensuring optimal use of resources.
4. **Market & Business Development**:
- Collaborate with buyers, traders, and distributors to sell coffee and expand business opportunities.
- Identify and implement strategies for cost reduction and productivity improvements.
- Proactively come up with plans to maximize profit and plans for expansion.
5. **Team & Resource Management**:
- Lead and manage a team of farm workers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide training on best agricultural practices and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, labor, and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications & Experience:
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
- Master’s degree (Agriculture or Business Administration) is a plus.
**Experience**:
- **Minimum 10 years of experience**in **coffee** **farm management**, with a proven track record in handling **large-scale plantations (150+ Ha)**.
- Strong expertise in export processes, certifications, and quality control.
