About the role

Sunbytes is seeking a Java Developerfor our client in Ho Chi Minh City.Our client in Vietnam collaborates with the Netherlands team to deliver innovative software solutions within the fintech industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work inside a cross-functional team to define and implement software solutions.
- Work together with both teams in Vietnam and The Netherlands
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and best practices.

**Yêu cầu công việc**:
Must have skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of core Java, OOP principles, and design patterns.
- Proficiency in SQL and database interaction.
- Good verbal and written English skills for collaboration with international teams

Nice to have skills:

- It’s a plus if you also have knowledge of Angular or ReactJS.
- Experience with JAVA EE, including a solid understanding of Java EEtechnologiessuchas EJB (Enterprise JavaBeans) and JAX-RS (Java API for RESTful WebServices).
- Proficiency with Document databases such as MongoDB.
- Agile and Scrum development methodologies exposure.
- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, OpenShift).
- CI/CD pipeline familiarity.
- Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
