Take an active role in setting up the design environment for different projects. This includes configuring and customizing the necessary tools, libraries, and methodologies to create an optimized and productive design environment

In your new role you will:

- Design Environment Setup: Take an active role in setting up the design environment for different projects. This includes configuring and customizing the necessary **tools, **libraries, and methodologies to create an optimized and productive design environment.
- Issue Resolution and Automation: Resolve tool and methodology issues faced by the design execution team. Work closely with the team to understand their challenges and provide effective solutions. Additionally, identify opportunities for automation to streamline specific requirements and improve overall efficiency. Develop local automation solutions when needed, and collaborate with the flow development team or **EDA **vendors to find or create appropriate solutions.
- Training and Documentation: Facilitate the onboarding and ramp-up ofnew designers by providing comprehensive training and documentation on the design environment, tools, and methodologies. This ensures a smooth transition and helps designers quickly become productive members oftheir respective teams.
- Collaboration with Flow Development and EDA Vendors: Work closely withthe flow development team to understand and align with the design flowrequirements. Collaborate with them to enhance the design environmentand address any gaps or challenges that arise. Additionally, liaise withEDA vendors to obtain timely solutions or collaborate on creating newsolutions when necessary.
- Design Issue Resolution: Actively engage in resolving design issues byworking closely with flow developers, EDA vendors, and other relevantstakeholders. Provide technical expertise and support to troubleshootand overcome design challenges, ensuring the timely completion of projects.
- Design Productivity Improvement: Continuously strive to improve designproductivity by identifying areas for optimization and implementinglocal automation solutions. This includes evaluating design processes,tools, and methodologies to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
- By incorporating these improvements, you will play a crucial role inenabling design teams to work efficiently and effectively, there by contributing to the overall success of the organization.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- Qualifications: Possess a bachelor's degree in electronics engineeringand worked in Function Verification field.
- **Verification **Experience: Possess experience in **system-level simulation **, **SoC **verification, and **functional verificatio **n. This includes expertise in creating **test environments **, developing test benches, and verifying the functionality and performance of **analog mixed signal designs.**
- Verification Tools: Proficient in using industry-standard **verification tools such as Xcelium **for function verification, **Jasper **or 0-In for formal verification, and **Assertion Based Verification (ABV)methodologies **. Familiarity with tools like **JAMA/vManage **r for requirement-based verification planning and Perspec for test bench qualification adds value to your skill set. Experience in **emulation-based simulation **using tools like Zebu further strengthens your verification capabilities.
- Design Languages: Skilled in design languages such as **C++,SystemVerilog **, VHDL/Verilog, and e-Language (legacy eVC usage). Thisproficiency allows you to create and simulate complex analog mixedsignal designs efficiently.
- Test Bench Qualification: Experienced in using Certitude for testbench qualification. This tool expertise ensures the reliability andaccuracy of test benches, enhancing the quality of verificationactivities.
- Script Programming: Possess exposure to script programming languages,such as C and/or Perl/Python. This skill allows for automation andcustomization of design flows and methodologies, leading to improvedefficiency and productivity.
- Team Player and Communication Skills: Exhibit strong teamworkabilities and possess excellent communication skills. Effectivecollaboration and communication with project teams, EDA vendors, andother stakeholders are always expected.
- Problem-Solving Mentality: Demonstrate a proactive problem-solvingmentality, being able to identify issues and provide effectivesolutions. This mindset is critical for resolving design challenges andimproving overall efficiency in the development process
