Qhse Officer

**Job Summary**:
QHSE Officer will implement company HSE goals and lead the set up of a QHSE integrated organization. Providing QHSE management services to the different departments and the EXCO. QHSE Manager will enhance the QHSE awareness in the company and is responsible for compliance regarding QHSE.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:
**1. QHSE Organization**:

- QHSE company goals
- Assist the QHSE Manager to develop, manage and monitor the QHSE performance of the company
- Monitor and advise on all QHSE matters, issues and concerns to ensure company compliance with statutory requirements, company and contractual requirements and good industry practice
- Report on DEEP C’s QHSE performance to the QHSE Manager and statutory authorities as/when required
- Maintain awareness of evolving QHSE regulations and best practice and how they could be applied to DEEP C’s operations
- **2. QHSE Tasks**:
2.1. Quality
- Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships;
- Liaise with different departments, customers, and other stakeholders, regarding QHSE matters, ensuring their expectations are met;
- Responsible for DEEP C's QHSE processes and procedures to ensure the DEEP C entities maintain their accreditations (ISO9001-2015, ISO14001-2015);
- Responsible for management of and liaison with QHSE auditors to acquire/maintain the accreditations;
- Assist in the accreditation of new management systems in DEEP C;
- Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures, identifying and assisting implementation improvements.

2.2. Health
- Ensure compliance with health-related standards and regulations

2.3 Safety
- Manage and monitor emergency procedures;
- Ensure compliance with all firefighting-related standards and regulations;
- Conduct QHSE training courses using internal and external resources when required (Toolbox trainings, Monthly Safety training,).

2.4 Environment
- Ensure compliance with environmental and waste management-related standards and regulations;
- Follow up on EIA reports for all IZ;
- Follow up on the environmental monitoring for all IZ.
- **3. QHSE Training program**:

- Development of a visual SharePoint for QHSE;
- Toolbox training (very short);
- Monthly Safety training.
- **4. Events**:

- Ocean Clean up;
- Tree Planting Event;
- Safety Day.
- **5. Other tasks**:

- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely manner;
- Work with local authorities and Ministries;
- Offer QHSE consultancy to DEEP C’s subsidiaries and affiliates when required.

**Requirement/Abilities**:

- **1. Qualification & Certificates**
- Master in Environmental Technology or similar based on experience
- QHSE related qualifications and certificates
- **2. Work experiences**
- Proven QHSE professional for 5 years from a highly regulated industry

**3. Knowledge/Expertise**
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
- At least 3 to 5 year experience in QHSE position- Driven to implement safety and quality improvements
- A “hands-on” implementer of processes and change
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Vietnamese
- Excellend computer skills
- Motivated to work together in the most efficient manner
