About SAP Labs Network and SAP Labs Vietnam

SAP Labs Network is the global R&D setup where over 55,000 engineers around the world create, operate and support the most innovative enterprise solutions for SAP’s customers worldwide. SAP Labs Vietnam aims to become one of the key locations within the SAP Labs Network to support the engineering growth for SAP.

**What you'll do**

Reporting into the MD for the Labs, the requirement is to have an accountable and hands on person who will be responsible for bringing the end to end operational execution plan to ramp up Labs Vietnam to life on the ground. A trusted partner to the program team, this leader will need to coordinate between multiple stakeholders from HR, Finance, Facilities, Legal, IT and other teams, ensuring the smooth alignment between the different stakeholders within SAP.

Externally, this person will need to represent different teams in SAP to support the negotiation and discussions with external parties, providing key local insights which will make Labs Vietnam a “best place to work” in the technology sector. In addition, this person will work with the Employee and Ecosystem Manager to ensure the smooth execution of employee related events at SAP Labs Vietnam.

Overseeing the execution plan with the other operations employees on location, the person will need to ensure that an annual plan is created, maintained and tracked - with regular reporting to outline progress, as well as highlight key hurdles and issues that need resolution with global teams. Objectively, the person needs to be able to foresee key issues, and provide a execution plan that mitigates key risks on-site.

**What you bring**
- Assist the SAP Labs MD and the SAP Labs Network Team to operationalise the Labs as a fully functional part of SAP’s development setup
- Setup, prepare for relevant management leadership team meetings with key stakeholders
- Coordinate with facilities, IT, legal, HR and Finance teams to ensure a smooth running of the Labs in Vietnam
- Support the execution of employee engagement activities
- Hands on attitude, and can do mindset is a must.
- Support internal and external events, in some cases lead the project execution.
- Liaise with the local employee engagement team to cultivate a strong sense of purpose within the team, ensure high participation in employee events
- Developing collaborative work relationships within own team and cross-functional, including representation of team towards senior management
- Supporting internal projects, including decision taking within clearly defined framework of departmental guidelines and practices, initially learning from other Labs but ultimately developing best in class practices for the location
- Competent knowledge about the local operational regulatory environment, trusted advisor to the MD and global teams on how to navigate complex topics around the regulatory environment
- Maintains the highest standards on work ethics and compliance to SAP’s employee code of conduct
- Ambassador for SAP in the local market

Experience Requirements
- Proven leadership/COO role in and experience in establishing operational excellence in a tech company, preferably in a top tier Tech multinational is key to success in this role
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex topics in a matrixed global organisation
- Project management and business skills with in managing key projects around office and team requirements with tight deadlines
- Ability to managing key topics around office and team requirements - and expectations for individuals on the ground
- Strong employee focus and demonstrated acumen to cultivate and develop lasting employee relations
- Demonstrated several years’ experience with increasing amount of responsibility
- Driven, creative and enthusiastic individual committed to growing the location and making the office a “lighthouse” for employees
