Job description
ABOUT THE JOB
Understand project requirements from the user story owner and collaborate with the team to define test objectives and strategies
Create defects in ALM/Xray or other defect management tools for any findings during testing
Close defects after confirmation from the development team and validate the fix
Handover test cases to the Automation Engineer for test automation, ensuring proper documentation and instructions
Handover test cases to the user story owner, providing clear instructions and guidance for execution
Attend and actively participate in all Scrum events, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Update the Scrum Board regularly with the status of test cases, defects, and overall testing progress
Write test cases based on project requirements, ensuring adequate test coverage and adherence to quality standards
Execute manual tests in the DT1 (Development/Test) and QT1 (Quality/Test) environments of the SAP system, focusing on modules MM, PDM, BOM, MDG-M, and other relevant modules
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues, clarify requirements, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software
Provide regular status updates and reports on testing progress, defect metrics, and overall test coverage to project stakeholders
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
Proven experience as a Test Lead or Test Analyst in SAP projects, with a strong understanding of SAP modules MM, PDM, BOM, MDG-M, and related areas
Hands-on experience with SAP testing methodologies, tools, and processes
Good command of the English language, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with global teams
SAP experience is essential, with a solid understanding of SAP system functionalities and configuration
ISTQB certification or other relevant software testing certifications are a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines
Strong documentation and reporting skills to provide clear and concise test artifacts
Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions
