**Job description**:

- HCLTech are looking for a talented Frontend Engineer to build 1st frontend platform for ANZ X, have an opportunity to develop yourself in frontend development in this very challenging job

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Leading and coaching engineers in your team to design and implement secure, scalable, and impactful solutions.
- Helping us evolve our web platform. We currently use Next.js 14, managing the projects with Nx. We deploy our code to production using continuous deployment.
- Working at a senior level across the programme team, collaborating with architects, engineers, and customer experience experts.
- Self-organising your own priorities, you will facilitate rapid decision making for the team.
- Shaping how ANZ delivers on their commitment to providing great customer service through technology.

**Your skills and experience**:
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

**_ Must have:_**
- 2+ years working with **ReactJS** or **NextJS** using **TypeScript** (NextJS preferred)
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles.
- Ability to demonstrate UI design literacy.
- Experience with frontend unit testing and familiarity with testing-library.
- A good understanding of WCAG **Accessibility** 2.0, Level AA or higher (we do not expect you have experience; intermediate knowledge is okay)
- Working in an agile team environment including relevant tools.
- Good ability in English

**_ Nice to have:_**
- Ability to demonstrate working within cloud environments such as GCP, AWS or Azure.
- Experience with setting up and working with continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
- Familiarity with a type system, or a willingness to learn..
