We are looking for a Rheumatologist with an internal medicine background who can work as the medical director of the clinic.
The position is available to those who possess a minimum of five years of professional experience as a specialist and exhibit native-level proficiency in English, or alternatively, are French doctors with exceptional English language skills.
It is very important for us that the rheumatologist maintain his/her skills to check patients for internal medicine diseases because we expect him/her to work with a variety of patients.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Rheumatologist with a strong background in internal medicine to join our clinic as a Rheumatologist+internal medicine specialist and also serve as the Medical Director. As a Rheumatologist, you will diagnose and treat patients with various rheumatic diseases, while providing high-quality, comprehensive care. Additionally, you will assume the role of Medical Director, overseeing the overall clinical operations of our facility, ensuring excellent patient care, and collaborating with our administrative team.
**Responsibilities**:
Clinical Responsibilities:
1. Diagnose and treat patients with diverse rheumatic conditions and internal medicine diseases, including arthritis, lupus, fibromyalgia, gout, and osteoporosis, among others.
2. Conduct thorough medical examinations, review medical histories, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and analyze patient symptoms.
3. Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating the latest research, medications, therapies, and interventions to optimize patients’ well-being.
4. Perform various rheumatologic procedures, including joint aspirations, injections, and synovial fluid analysis.
5. Monitor patients’ progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and make adjustments as required.
6. Educate patients and their families on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and preventive measures.
7. Collaborate and consult with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care physicians, radiologists, physical therapists, and orthopedic surgeons, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
8. Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of rheumatology by attending conferences, participating in specialized training, and engaging in continuing medical education.
Medical Director Responsibilities:
1. Provide strategic leadership and oversight to ensure the clinic’s medical operations are efficient, effective, and aligned with our mission.
2. Collaborate with the administrative team to establish and implement policies, procedures, and standards for clinical practice in line with evidence-based medicine.
3. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as maintain the clinic’s accreditations.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Government officials, Embassies, NGO, international companies that work in Vietnam, and insurance companies
5. Foster a culture of clinical excellence, continuous quality improvement, and patient-centered care.
6. Lead and supervise a team of medical professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development.
7. Organize and lead regular team meetings to discuss clinical updates, address challenges, and implement process improvements.
8. Participate in budgeting and resource allocation, optimizing operational efficiency while maintaining high-quality care.
9. Act as a point of contact for escalated patient care issues or complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
10. Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to promote the clinic’s services and enhance its reputation.
11. Writing English articles for local publications and participating in monthly radio medical education broadcasts in Vietnam
Qualifications:
1. Medical degree (MD ) from an accredited institution.
2 Five years of experience as a specialist in a hospital
3. Board certification in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine.
4. Valid medical license and ability to practice as a Rheumatologist and Internist within the jurisdiction.
5. Demonstrated clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating various rheumatic diseases.
6. Proven experience as a leader or Medical Director in a clinical setting is preferred.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and stakeholders.
8. Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to manage, motivate, and inspire a multidisciplinary team.
