The school is currently looking to recruit a:
**SECONDARY ASSISTANT HEADTEACHER**:
Due to an internal promotion, BIS HCMC is looking to appoint a Secondary Assistant Headteacher. **This post is for an August 2025 (or earlier if possible) start.**

**About the Secondary Senior Leadership Team**:
The Secondary Senior Leadership Team (SSLT) is composed of the Head of Campus, two Deputy Headteachers, two Assistant Headteachers and the Whole School Deputy Headteacher who leads on Enrichment and Co-curricular activities. As a team, the SSLT leads on the delivery of a Secondary educational experience that is in line with our whole school vision and Aide Memoire. We endeavour to empower, support and guide the Secondary middle leaders, departments, teachers, and pastoral teams to ensure that all students have access to high-quality learning opportunities inside and beyond the classroom. Our holistic approach, whilst being rigorously academic, is underpinned with excellent pastoral support and inclusive and engaging co-curricular activities.

The Assistant Headteacher will take a lead role in the collaborative development of a common understanding of outstanding teaching and learning and ensure frameworks are in place to support the ongoing growth of all Secondary colleagues. They will lead and organise Professional Review and Development Cycles, Secondary INSET and Staff induction and will also focus on the strategic development and implementation of educational technologies.
