**Sr Electrician**

**Main purpose of position**
Currently we are looking for a
**Sr Electrician** in Choluteca, Honduras to be part of our global team working together towards our vision - Improving our future. As our
**Sr Electrician** you will perform electrical work on the Plant that will include modification, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems as well as switching, isolation, earthing and LOTO duties as per Authorisation level. Provide training and supervision to junior personnel, Be Authorized Person on Duty (APD) acting as Plant Supervisor when required. Ensuring compliance with local regulations and laws.

**Main responsibilities**
- Perform work in the modification, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems
- Perform switching, isolation, earthing and LOTO duties as per Authorisation level
- Perform Preventative and Corrective Maintenance tasks
- Report, troubleshoot and repair of all electrical equipment and systems among others technical activites
- Supervise and train junior personnel in associated duties, acting as team leader
- Ensure all SSOM Plant Safety Regulations (SSOM-PSR) and Operational Regulations for High Voltage Systems (SSOM-ORHVS) requirements are adhered to
- Perform various HSE related tasks, maintain and drive HSE requirements and systems
- All other tasks assigned by his Senior Person

**Qualifications**
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering
- 2+ years Electrical experience (Proven experience of AC & DC electrical troubleshooting and repairs)

- Ability to take ownership of electrical systems on the plant
- Ability to complete a task in reasonable time with a sense of urgency
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work with no supervision
- Ability to supervise and lead a team
- Ability to work under pressure conditions
- Good Planning skills

**Additional information**

Valid Driving license is required, this position is based in Choluteca and/or Nacaome.
